(VOV) – 66 IT products and services were honored at the Sao Khue Awards 2013 in Hanoi on Sunday. Speaking at a ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the award, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son praised the Sao Khue program’s contributions to the development of Vietnam’s software and IT industry. The new industry’s turnover increased from 50 million USD in 2002 to more than 2.3 billion USD in 2012, contributing significantly to national economic development and modernization. Son expressed his hope that the program will encourage organizations and individuals to further develop Vietnam’s software and IT industry.
