(VOVworld) -  San Bernardino on Friday marked the first anniversary of a terrorist attack that left 14 dead with a variety of services and remembrances. The culprits were a couple of devout Muslims.

A memorial service took place at the Inland Regional Center that included a moment of silence for the victims. A memorial bike ride was hosted by the San Bernardino Police Department. The ride was 14 miles, or 22 kilometers, a significant figure as it represents the number of people killed and injured in the attack. The families of the victims also had their own commemoration.
