Formed more than a century ago along the banks of the Tien River, Sa Dec Flower Village began with modest rose gardens and has grown into a major ornamental flower production area spanning nearly 1,000 hectares.

Today, it is home to hundreds of flower and ornamental plant varieties, supplying both domestic and international markets. Sa Dec now has around 4,000 production households, 190 business households, and 17 cooperatives.

The recognition contributes to preserving traditional cultivation techniques and the historical values of the craft village, as well as underscores Sa Dec’s economic and cultural role in the Mekong Delta region.
