The liberation of the western part of the city Artemovsk continues to get air and artillery support. Eight attacks by Ukraine’s Armed Forces at the positions of Russian forces were warded off, the ministry said.

On the same day, Ben Wallace, UK Defense Secretary, confirmed that multiple Storm Shadow cruise missiles will be delivered to Kyiv. The Storm Shadow is a long-range cruise missile with a firing range in excess of 250km and is typically launched from the air, the missile was jointly developed by the UK and France.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Washington believes that the UK government's decision meets the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces.

The Kremlin said Moscow would take an “appropriate” military response to any British-supplied Storm Shadow weapons used by Ukrainian forces.
