They discussed preparations for the upcoming Syrian National Dialogue Congress, which is considered an important milestone in reaching a political solution to the Syrian issue. Both also discussed implementation of the ceasefire in de-escalation areas in Syria.

On Sunday, the US-led coalition against IS in Syria announced cooperation with Syrian military allies, including the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces to form a unified security force in Syria to secure Syria’s border with Turkey and Iraq.
