At a press conference on Monday in Moscow, Lavrov said the situation is even worse than during the Cold War, accusing the UK, the US, and other Western countries of neglecting rules of accepted behavior.
Lavrov said if London cannot answer Moscow’s questions at the extraordinary meeting of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on Wednesday, it will prove that the Skripal poisoning is a provocation. He said the escalation between Russia and the West doesn’t depend on Moscow.
