Russian President Putin extends New Year greetings to Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his greetings for Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 to the heads of foreign states and governments, including Party and State leaders in Vietnam.

In his message, President Putin said that, despite coronavirus restrictions, the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Vietnam has maintained considerable momentum, as confirmed during the recent Russia-Vietnam talks in Moscow.

He emphasized that the two countries are carrying out promising joint projects in multiple areas and said he is certain that by working together, Russia and Vietnam will bring about further advances in fruitful bilateral cooperation in many areas and contribute to constructive cooperation in regional affairs which advances the interests of their peoples and strengthens peace, security, and stability in the Asia-Pacific.
