(VOVworld)- Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Saint Peterburg on September 5 and 6. Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council met with Yang Jiechi, Commissioner of the Chinese State Council, who is visiting Russia. At the meeting, Patrushev said Xi Jinping’s March visit to Russia boosted relations between the two countries. Yang Jiechi said that a series of important issues which were resolved at the March meeting will be reviewed during the coming talks and he hopes that in the current economic uncertainty, Russia and China will strengthen their cooperative efforts for economic recovery and job creation.
