Ryabkov emphasized that the US initiative to develop the "Golden Dome", aimed at significantly increasing its arsenal for conducting military operations in space—including the deployment of orbital interceptor systems—lays the groundwork for a trend of space militarization. This, he said, poses a risk of confrontation and escalating tensions among nations.

Ryabkov noted that such actions could trigger an arms race in space, fuel mutual suspicion, and hinder international efforts to explore outer space peacefully. He warned that this trajectory could have the most serious consequences for global security.
