Russia, Turkey, Iran support Syrian opposition taking part in negotiation

VOVworld) -  Russia, Turkey, and Iran have issued a joint statement establishing a trilateral mechanism to support the ceasefire in Syria and monitor violations. According to a statement, released at Syrian peace talks in Kazakhstan, the 3 countries support Syria’s rebels taking part in negotiations under the sponsorship of the UN which are scheduled to be held in Geneva next month.

According to a statement, released at Syrian peace talks in Kazakhstan, the 3 countries support Syria’s rebels taking part in negotiations under the sponsorship of the UN which are scheduled to be held in Geneva next month. 
The Syrian Government praised the peace talks and said they support the statement. The same day, Staffan de Mistura, the UN envoy to Syria, said the UN should to continue to head the Syrian peace effort and the next peace talks should be held in Geneva.
