Russia asked investigators not to believe unreliable sources on social networks or in the Ukrainian army, but to trust testimony from witnesses, who said that the missile that downed MH17 came from Ukraine-controlled territory.

The investigation team formed by the Netherlands, Australia, Malaysia, Belgium, and Ukraine says the missile that hit MH17 belonged to Russia’s Brigade 53 in Kursk.
