The letter by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) said that recent actions by the Facebook administration violated the key principles of “free dissemination of information and unhindered access to it, and were an act of censorship.”
Facebook last month blocked articles by Russian news agencies reporting that Russian law enforcement had arrested alleged members of MKU, a Ukrainian nationalistic youth organization, in the city of Voronezh.
