The Committee noted that it has verifiable information that the perpetrators of the attack received significant amounts of money and cryptocurrency, which were used in preparing the crime.
The detained suspects’ connection with Ukrainian nationalists was determined from examining their electronic devices and analyzing their financial transactions, the Committee said.
Last Saturday Mykhailo Podoliak, spokesman for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said Kiev was not involved in the terrorist attack. Ukraine's Foreign Ministry also denied that Ukraine was involved in the incident.
