(VOVworld) - The 10th cultural-sports exchange festival between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) took place in Yongin city, Gyeonggi province, on Saturday.

Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Huu Chi likened the annual festival to a warm gathering of family members. He said he hoped Yongin city’s Korea-Vietnam Friendship Exchange Association will organize more programs to strengthen amity between the two peoples.

Following the opening ceremony, participants were treated to Cookin’ Nanta, a Korean musical comedy show, and popular folk and contemporary melodies of the two countries. Other highlights of the event were volleyball and table tennis competitions.
