(VOVworld) – Revisions to the Criminal Code must ensure accuracy and justice in addressing crimes, said Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong on Sunday’s TV program “People ask, minister answers”. Minister Cuong stressed the importance of the Criminal Code with its huge influence on society. 7 million public comments on revisions to the Code were collected from mid July to mid September. Minister Cuong said revisions to the Code are aimed at ensuring human and citizens’ rights acknowledged in the 2013 Constitution. He said the revised Code includes stricter regulations reflecting the Party and government’s determination to fight crime, especially crimes related to corruption.
