(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan held a working session on Saturday with 21 professors, who are presidents of associations under the Vietnam Union of Science-Technology Associations.

Their discussions focused on implementing a party resolution on renovating and developing science and technology and enhancing the contributions of Vietnamese intellectuals. Mr. Nhan praised the professors’ clarification of cooperation between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Union of Science-Technology Associations. He called for renovations in science and technology and encouraged effective application models. He asked the professors and members of the Vietnam Union of Science-Technology Associations to enhance their role of social criticism and supervision in order to create social consensus.
