Participants said the achievements of the agricultural sector over the past 30 years have been attributed to bank credit sources.

By the end of September, credit investment in the sector has reached nearly 42 billion USD, up 9.6% against last year.

Statistics show that the average credit growth in agriculture and rural areas fetched 17.4% during the 2010-2015 period.

To create better conditions for farmers to develop production and restructure the agricultural industry, delegates at the meeting agreed that credit institutions and banks should continue to identify agriculture and rural areas a top priority. Loans should provided towards developing big-scale production and increasing the linkage of products’ global value chains.
