(VOVWORLD) - 25,322 COVID-19 patients in Vietnam fully recovered on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health. This was the highest number of recoveries reported so far bringing the total to 608,831.

Vietnam logged additional 7,940 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours as of 5 pm Thursday. They included 3 imported cases and 7,937 locally transmitted cases in 36 cities and provinces. So far, Vietnam has reported 790,755 COVID-19 infections.

On Thursday, 159 patients died.
