Addressing the ceremony in Hanoi, the Vice President expected that the diplomats will fulfil foreign missions including maintaining the peaceful and stable environment and utilising external resources to develop the country; protecting the national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity; and enhancing the position and prestige of the country. She said she believed that they would promote the relationships between Vietnam and other countries while ensuring the interests of the nation and people.
