Notably, Quang Ninh ranks among the top three nationwide in the Provincial Innovation Index (PII) and is one of 21 localities where digital transformation has been implemented across all communes and wards. All administrative procedures are now processed online, with 97.9% handled without administrative boundary restrictions.

The province is the first in Vietnam to cooperate with enterprises in promoting science and technology development and building a concentrated digital technology zone. It is also the first locality to organize an investment promotion conference dedicated to this field.

Quang Ninh will continue developing both basic and applied sciences to support socio-economic development, expand the application of technology from production to consumption, enhance citizens’ digital skills, particularly in using online public services, and strengthen cooperation with leading domestic and international technology groups and training institutions.
