The exhibition, which opened on Monday, features 152 ancient maps, bibliographies, and royal documents which include historic and legal evidence proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa.
On display are also photographs of the on duty naval force and local fishermen fishing at sea.
It aims to raise public awareness and their sense of responsibility about safeguarding the country’s sovereignty over seas and islands.
The exhibition will run until Saturday in response to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week (June 1-8) and World Oceans Day (June 8).
