Peskov said the Russian foreign minister noted at an earlier meeting that despite the attack from Ukraine, it is important to continue contacts at the working level.

Putin told US President Donald Trump in a phone call Wednesday that Moscow will have to respond to Ukraine’s recent attack on its airfields.
