(VOVworld)- The revised 1992 Constitution has received feedback from the public. The People’s Army newspaper today gathered comments from soldiers and officers of Military Zone 4. They discussed the political system, human rights, economics, society, culture, education, science, technology, and the environment. Issues relating to national defense, the state apparatus, enforcement of the Constitution, and the process of revising the Constitution were also discussed. The People’s Daily newspaper reported on the Central Party Committee’s inspection of public opinion collection in Hai Duong and Hai Phong. In the past two months, Da Nang city has held several meetings to collect more than 1,000 opinions on the constitutional changes. The opinions cover human rights and citizens’ rights and obligations. Vo Duy Khuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Municipal People’s Committee, says: “We have collected the public comments on the revised Constitution. Each district held 2 or 3 meetings to gather opinions. Such meetings were also organized at the commune level. We are now holding meetings at the municipal level. We will create summary reports on these public opinions to submit to the National Assembly’s Committee for Constitutional Revisions”.

Can Tho city held a seminar on constitutional revisions. The delegates discussed economic and political issues, the building of a socialist state governed by law, of the people, by the people, and for the people, national development and international integration.

The same day, Dien Bien and Ha Nam province collected opinions on human rights, citizens’ rights and obligation, national defense and other social issues stipulated in the revised Constitution.
