(VOVworld)-The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment held a workshop to gather comments on amendment to the 1992 Constitution. Delegates focused on articles relating to environment, land, water resources and minerals. Deputy Administrator of Sea and Islands Agency, Pham Ngoc Son: “We need one separate article about maritime resources. The Party resolution has emphasized the need to move offshore for economic growth. This will ensure sustainable exploitation and environmental protection.”

Administrator of the Environment Agency, Le Ke Son, suggests: “Environmental protection is the responsibility of the state, society and people. We need to highlight it as responsibility and obligation of all organizations and individuals in Vietnam in line with the laws relating to the environment.”
