President of Hung Yen provincial Fatherland Front, Pham Ngoc Huy, called for a separate chapter governing the front and other social political organization: “The amendment should ensure efficient performance by the Fatherland Front and other political mass organizations as well as its member divisions. This has to be stipulated in the constitution.”

Delegates confirmed the leadership role by the Community Party of Vietnam and commented on land issues in the amendment.
