(VOVworld) – A ceremony was held on Sunday in Vung Tau City to review the implementation of the Program “For a national green environment 2015” under the theme “Developing tourism in line with protecting maritime environment”. The program was launched in Cat Ba island district in Hai Phong City in early June and continued in Hoi An, Da Nang, and Vung Tau City, attracting the participation of many local people who wished to join hands to protect Vietnam’s maritime environment. Various activities have been organized as part of the program including movements to encourage people to plant trees, protect the environment, clean beaches, and educate the public of protecting the environment.
