(VOVworld) - A television programme “Journey to high mountainous areas”, designed for very small ethnic minority groups in Vietnam is to be aired on the Vietnam Television Corporation channel from January 2, 2016.

The program includes 18 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes, giving audiences a glimpse of the lives of ethnic minority groups in Vietnam such as Lo Lo, Pa Then, Pu Peo, Co Lao, Bo Y, Chut, Ro Mam and Brau peoples. The two final episodes will feature core cultural values of and incentives for very small ethnic minorities.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan said: “Modern society has changed many things, including cultural values of ethnic minority people. Unspoiled and off-the-beaten tracks as well as mysterious stories are also worth viewing”.
Mr. Truong Minh Tuan said the programme will help raise public understanding of the Party’s policies and State’s laws on ethnic minorities and call for public support for them.
