(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited Zarubezhneft, Russia’s oldest foreign economic enterprise in the oil and gas sector during his ongoing visit to Russia.

Mr. Phuc spoke highly of bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sector, especially between the State-owned Petro Vietnam and Russia’s oil and gas companies. The Prime Minister said the Vietnamese government always supports and creates the best possible conditions for long-term cooperation between the two countries in this field. He confirmed support for research, exploration and the exploitation of oil and gas in Vietnam, Russia and other countries. Phuc also urged the two sides to do research and further cooperate in oil products, engine fuel and green technology.
