(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his entourage arrived at Vnukovo international airport of Moscow at 13 hours (Hanoi time) on Monday, beginning his official visit to Russia at the invitation of Russian Premier Dmitry Medvedev.

He will also attend the Russia-ASEAN summit in Sochi. The Vietnamese leader was welcomed at the airport by Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov, and other government officials. The Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son and Vietnamese expats were also there. This is the first tour abroad by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, which is of great significance to boosting the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.
Following the welcoming ceremony, talks were held between the two Prime Ministers. Later on, they witnessed the signing of cooperative agreements between the two countries’ ministries and economic groups.
