At the meeting, Prime Minister Chinh sincerely thanked the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for sending condolences to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and sending a representative delegation to attend the funeral for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
The Prime Minister also appreciated the fact that in recent days, the Chinese media and personalities have written articles and comments expressing their respect and condolences for General Secretary Trong.
Recalling the special marks by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and General Secretary and President Xi Jinping on Vietnam-China relations, the Prime Minister emphasized that Vietnam is ready to work with China to effectively implement high-level common perception according to the direction defined by General Secretary Trong and General Secretary and President Xi.
Mr. Wang expressed the deep condolences of the Party, State and people of China for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, a great friend of the Chinese people. He emphasized that China steadfastly supports Vietnam in following a development path appropriate to Vietnam's situation, continuing to promote the unceasing development of socialism building.
He said he believes that the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties and two countries will continue to advance in the direction mapped out by Xi Jinping and Nguyen Phu Trong.
