(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung spoke highly of the practical contribution made by the Vietnam Red Cross Society to campaigns and movements which spur national development.

At a meeting on Tuesday in Hanoi, the Prime Minister called on the Society to closely follow its basic regulations and further promote the campaigns of blood and organ donations to save more lives: “There is great demand for blood at hospitals. The Vietnam Red Cross Society should promote the blood donation campaign. Many organ- transplant cases have been successfully implemented in Vietnam. It is essential to further those campaigns to save more lives”.
