(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the Tan Van-Nhon Trach section, including Nhon Trach bridge, of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, on Saturday as part of his working trip to the southern provinces.

The 76 km long ring road passing through Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh has a total investment of 3 billion USD from the State budget. The Tan Van-Nhon Trach section (through Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai) is 8.2 km long and will be opened to traffic on August 19. Nhon Trach bridge, the largest bridge of Ring Road 3, will also be opened to traffic on the same day.

Giving gifts and encouraging the team of cadres, engineers, and workers at the construction site, the Prime Minister praised the localities for completing Nhon Trach Bridge one and a half months ahead of schedule, helping to connect Dong Nai with Ho Chi Minh City, boost economic development in the Southeast region, cut logistics costs, and enhance the competitiveness of goods and businesses.
