Earlier the online version of the Youth Newspaper ran a report on the vibrant startup movement leading to the third wave of Deep Tech.

Deep tech startups are tech firms specializing in the research and development with intellectual property patent. Experts said the areas of highly applicable Deep Tech in Vietnam are agriculture, consumption, service, and healthcare thanks to advantages in population and quick adaptation to technology.

The online newspaper Bnews cited the Techinasia as saying that Vietnam has one of the fastest-growing startup ecosystems in the world and has now almost caught up with Singapore and Indonesia’s startup growth rate.

According to Techinasia, an English-language technology website in Singapore,  Vietnam could be in one of the three countries that have the highest number of engineers in the world in the next five years.
