(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived in Lisbon early Wednesday for a two-day visit to Portugal at the invitation of Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho. He will hold talks with Portugese leaders to discuss ways to boost bilateral trade co-operation.

Earlier, Prime Minister Dung met with President of the Algeria-Viet Nam Friendship Association Cherfaoui Tayeb, the head of the Vovinam Vietnamese Martial Arts Association in Algeria, and Hocine Maaloum, the head of the Algeria-Viet Nam Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group. During his meeting with Mr Maaloum, Mr Dung said Algeria is a long-standing, close friend of Vietnam and that the co-operation between the two countries’ legislative bodies laid a firm foundation for bilateral comprehensive co-operation. He called for the group’s continued contribution to strengthening bilateral relations.
