Addressing the event, the Prime Minister commended all military forces for their excellent accomplishments to develop the national economy and fight COVID-19.

He said, “The military units have promoted and effectively implemented the mass mobilization activities, the army joined efforts to build a new rural area and help the poor, leaving no one behind. The army has contributed to socio-economic development, combined defense and economy, and improved the people’s living conditions, especially people in remote areas, revolutionary base zones, borders, and islands. The emulation movement has inspired officials, soldiers and units to  protect the border and island airspace, especially the coast guard, border and navy forces, who have closely coordinated with forces at sea and fishermen to resolutely and persistently safeguard the sacred independence, sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity and islands of the Fatherland.”
