This is the first visit by a Vietnamese Prime Minister to Kuwait in 16 years (Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung visited Kuwait in March 2009). During his stay, Prime Minister Chinh will hold talks with the Prime Minister of Kuwait and witness the signing ceremony of cooperation documents. He will also hold talks with other senior leaders and meet with the ministers of Kuwait.
The Prime Minister, his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation will also meet with the staff of the Embassy of Vietnam and the Vietnamese community in Kuwait, receive large economic groups of Kuwait, deliver policy speeches, and visit economic and cultural establishments.
