(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang visited Cambodia’s Supreme Patriarchs Tep Vong and Bour Kry and the Cho Ray-Phnom Penh Hospital and met with representatives of Vietnamese businesses in Cambodia on Wednesday.

Mr. Sang said he hopes the Patriarchs will contribute significantly to promoting friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

Representatives of the Association of Vietnamese Investors in Cambodia proposed that the two governments formulate long-term bilateral cooperation strategies to strengthen economic connectivity. President Sang said that the Party, state, and government of Vietnam will work out policies to facilitate Vietnamese investors in Cambodia. During a visit to the Cho Ray-Phnom Penh Hospital, he asked Vietnamese and Cambodian doctors to share expertise to make the hospital a role model in promoting the relationship between the two countries. The Association of Vietnamese Investors in Cambodia donated 150,000 USD to the fund to support poor patients at the hospital.
