(VOVworld)-President Truong Tan Sang on Friday laid a wreath at the Cambodian Embassy in Hanoi, to express his condolences over the death of Cambodian King Father Norodom Sihanouk. Sang wrote in the memorials book of his sorrow on hearing of the former King’s death, describing him as a close friend of Vietnam. He added that, along with the rest of the country, he highly valued the support and affection that the late King had given to Vietnam. The same day, a delegation of Vietnamese Party, State, National Assembly and Government led by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived in Phnompenh to participate the mourning service of the former King.
