(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang met with voters in district 4, Ho Chi Minh city prior to the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly.

He heard voters’ concerns on corruption, inadequacy in urban planning and socio-economic development. The voters showed their determination to defend territorial sovereignty and protest against China’s violation of international law by building up many islands in Vietnam’s Truong Sa archipelago.
President Truong Tan Sang stressed the consistent policy to defend sovereignty over Vietnam’s territory as well as sea and islands. He said Vietnam will resolutely struggle to protect its territory, sea and islands through peaceful means and based on international laws.
