(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang met on Tuesday with representatives of US groups in Manila on the sidelines of the 2015 APEC. He stressed that the US-Vietnam relations have grown dramatically since the establishment of diplomatic ties 20 years ago and bilateral comprehensive partnership 2 years ago. He hailed US businesses’ contributions and investment commitments in Vietnam and said Vietnam will strive to improve its market mechanism regulations, legal policies, and administrative reforms, and domesticalize trade liberalization commitments, including those of TPP, to facilitate US businesses  to expand their investment in industry, services, high-tech agriculture, agricultural processing, and bio-pharmacy. President SZang addressed US businesses’ concerns and asked them to urge the US government not to apply trade barriers on Vietnamese products.
