(VOVworld)- President Truong Tan Sang left Hanoi today/ on Thursday to attend the 20th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting in Vladivostok, Russia at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. Sang’s attendance aims to speed up the implementation of Vietnam’s foreign policy and continue promoting the country’s role in APEC through its active contributions to APEC’s cooperation and the major contents of this meeting. President Sang will also pay visit the Republic of Kazakhstan from tomorrow until next Monday, at the invitation of Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
