President Quang applauded the conference’s theme “"Towards a Resilient and Innovative Community", hailing AIPA’s contributions to forming a united ASEAN Community for peace, cooperation, and prosperous development, to ensure every citizens’ interests over the past 40 years.

Amid global and regional complexity and uncertainty, the ASEAN Community has made effort to maintain solidarity, unity, and development with the 2025 Vision, consolidate ASEAN’s central role in addressing traditional and non-traditional security challenges, maintain regional peace and stability, and settle disputes through peaceful means on the basis of international law.

President Quang said he believes that AIPA will continue to uphold its role as a regional legislative organization to increase connectivity between ASEAN’s legislative and executive agencies to bring practical benefits to the people. He added the Vietnamese National Assembly proactively participates in AIPA’s activities to help build an ASEAN Community of stable and sustainable development.

The Vietnamese delegation is headed by National Assembly Vice Chairman Do Ba Ty.
