(VOVworld)- On Monday, President Tran Dai Quang presented the decisions on appointing 20 Vietnamese ambassadors overseas for the 2016-2020 term. The President asked the ambassadors to effectively implement three external affairs tasks as set out at the 12th National Party Congress. The tasks include maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, maximizing external resources for national development, being resolute in defending the nation, and improving Vietnam’s prestige. President Quang asked them to focus on citizen protection and overseas Vietnamese affairs.
