(VOVworld) - State President Truong Tan Sang has sent his best wishes to the educational staff and students nationwide on the occasion of the new school-year 2013-2014 and the day “People take children to school”. In his letter, the President praised the great efforts and achievements of the educational sector, especially teachers who have made considerable contributions to the sector and those unfortunate students who have overcome difficulties.

 President Sang noted that the academic year 2013-2014 is of importance because this will be the first year to implement the Party Central Committee's resolutions on fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training; and the development of science and technology. He urged the whole sector to further renovate managerial mechanisms; nurture a contingent of teachers and education managers; and improve the quality of education. He expressed his belief that the students would promote the national tradition of learning to achieve higher results in education, contributing to the success of national industrialization and moderation process.
