The President sent his best wishes to delegates who will participate in the conference in the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 2-10. In his message, the president said Vietnam has high expectations of the strong development of the world peace movements to protest and abolish nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction. He expressed his belief that the conference is an occasion for global peace forces and organisations to launch new initiatives against nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction, continuing to affirm solidarity and support for victims of atomic weapons, victims of Agent Orange and victims of other war crimes, for a world of peace, security, stability and sustainable development.
