During President Phuc’s visit to Switzerland from November 25-29, both sides had frank discussions and agreed on measures to strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations. They shared their views on regional and global issues, including the importance of maintaining peace, stability, security, and safety of navigation in the East Sea in line with international law. Switzerland affirmed that Vietnam is its priority partner which plays an important role in the regional and global production and supply chains.

Deputy Foreign Minister To Anh Dung said that during President Phuc’s visit to Russia from November 29 to December 2, both sides adopted a joint statement on Vision for Development of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Russia and Vietnam until 2030. The agreement is of strategic importance, particularly when both countries will celebrate 20 years of Strategic Partnership and 10 years of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for long-lasting interests of countries and peace, stability, and prosperity in the world.
