Vietnam treasures the traditional relationship and good friendship with Slovakia, the President said and informed of Vietnam's development goals. He applauded the progress made in traditional friendship between Vietnam and Slovakia.

The Slovak Prime Minister praised Vietnam's position and role in the region. The two leaders agreed to develop their extensive relations and to continue activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties as well as strengthen close coordination in addressing regional and global issues.
