At Friday's meeting with voters of Ho Chi Minh city’s district 1, 3, and 4, Quang said the successful hosting the APEC events are prominent achievements of Vietnam’s foreign policy this year, contributing to enhancing APEC’s role as the region’s leading economic cooperation mechanism. This marked a milestone in Vietnam’s international integration and demonstrated the country’s strategic vision for the Asia-Pacific region, he added. President Quang said activities of APEC Year 2017 were held professionally, thoroughly, economically, and effectively with optimal social resources mobilized and security and safety ensured.
The President also informed voters on the results of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly, saying that the session was held amid positive changes taking place in Vietnam.
