The event, part of activities to mark the 77th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day, July 27, was jointly held by the Heart of Vietnamese Soldiers organization, the Forever 20 Club, Vietnam Urban and Environment Magazine, the Vietnam Women's Museum, and the Council of the Dang Clan in Vietnam.
From 1965 to 1967, Lam Ha ward, which is now Phu Ly city, in Ha Nam province, was frequently attacked by the US air force because a railway and a road used to supply aid to the southern battlefield ran through it.
The Lam Ha Female Militia Platoon participated in the fight to protect the area and members heroically sacrificed their lives at a very young age. They were all between 17 and 20 years old.
Upon seeing the portraits of his two aunts, Nguyen Van Kien, the nephew of martyrs Nguyen Thi Thu and Nguyen Thi Thi, was moved to say, “On October 17, 1966, my two aunts heroically died when American planes bombed the site. These portraits are precious. The images are very lifelike. The original photos were in black and white and were blurry. These color photos are more soulful.”

The book "Return to the dream" was compiled by Colonel Dang Vuong Hung from the diary of martyr Tran Minh Tien. Colonel Hung, founder and Chairman of the Heart of Vietnamese Soldiers organization, said that this is the latest reprint of Tien's diary ‘Return to the dream’.
“It’s the first book the National Political Publishing House has issued digitally. This means that, while it’s a printed book, there are QR codes in it to allow readers to link to and read the original letters of martyr Tran Minh Tien, who was born in 1945 and died at the Khe Sanh battlefield in 1968,” said Colonel Hung.
He went on to say, “We presented to the Vietnamese Women's Museum portraits of 10 Lam Ha female volunteers and eight portraits of martyrs who we call “Forever 20”."
The Dang Thuy Tram bookcase presented to Luong Van Nam Secondary School in Bac Giang province is the third Dang Thuy Tram bookcase given to Bac Giang and the 14th nationwide.
