(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, Pope Francis arrived in Kenya, starting his six-day tour to Africa despite security fears. Pope Francis is the third Pope to visit Africa.

After Kenya, he will continue his trip to Uganda and the Central African Republic. Pope Francis is expected to visit a poor town in Kenya, a Catholic church in Uganda, a Muslim mosque and a refugee camp in the Central African Republic. He will also deliver speeches on politics, human rights, poverty and hunger elimination and climate change. The Pope will also meet with leaders from different religions and call for solidarity between religions.
